Versatile drum handler lets one man pick up drums regardless of position and raise them up to 72". Handles fully loaded drums up to 800 lbs. or half-full drums up to 500 lbs. Easy-loading cinch-type saddle accepts 55 gallon steel drums (optional adapters for other sizes and types). Fool-proof hydraulic system, 30-1 reduction gearbox allows drum to be rotated continuously through 360°, forward or reverse, holds drum at any angle desired. All welded steel frame rolls easily on two 8" polyolefin wheels and two 4" swivel casters with floor locks. Hand hydraulic pump. Full lift is obtained in about 45 strokes. Designed for use with pallet racks that have adjustable drum cradles. Minimum clearances required: 7" between drums, 12" between drum and rack upright on right side, 8½" underclearance for legs between lowest support beam and floor. Power Omni-Lift Karriers increase safety and productivity. Eliminate manual effort to lift and/or tilt drum. Move control valve handle to raise, lower or hold drum in position. Power Lift and Tilt Karriers allow precise and effortless control of lift height and draining angle. Equipped with separate control valves for lifting and rotating. Electric Models have hydraulic pump driven by 110 VAC, 1 phase TEFC motor. Supplied with 3-wire cord, plug and switch. Air Models have vane-type air motor. Order optional filter, regulator, lubricator and speed control valve separately, below. Battery Models have 12 volt DC pump. Supplied with deep-cycle battery and charger.
