Bulk Sak joined the AIB’s In-Plant Food and Safety/Hygiene Audit Training Program and totally redesigned its Malvern, Arkansas production facility to meet the high standards set forth by the AIB and began manufacturing the first True Food Grade Bulk Bags in the United States.

In 1997, the company was awarded the highest rating given by AIB in its first audit: Superior. This made Bulk Sak, Inc. the first and only FIBC manufacturer to participate in the AIB In-Plant Food and Safety/Hygiene Audit Training Program. The company has continued to participate in the AIB program and has been awarded a Superior rating each and every year since 1997.
