E-PAK takes pride in its ability to manufacture
capping and sealing equipment that compliments our line of liquid
fillers.
Automatic Cappers
The "Star" of our capping line is the E-PAK three
station spindle type screw capper. This versatile unit can
automatically sort and apply a wide range of screw caps, and no
change parts are required for most applications. These cappers are
fully portable and adjustable, and feature such items as
independent spindle wheel adjustment, speed container gripper
belts, power height adjustment, and a special air clutch torque
control to apply proper cap torque, while eliminating unsightly
cap scratching, or "marring."
Semi-Automatic Cappers
E-PAK manufactures an equally impressive array of capping
machinery to further complement our line of liquid fillers. Semi
automatic capping of hand placed caps, pump sprayers, and trigger
sprayers is achieved using the tightener portion of the auto
capper separately. All cappers are available with modifications
for corrosive, or hazardous location (flammable product)
environments. Automatic cap prefeeders, or cap elevators with a
floor level hopper provide greater levels of automation.

E-PAK cappers are very strong
and versatile machines that are able to sort and place a
wide range of snap-on/ press-on caps. Gripping belts
(various styles are available) guide the container
securely through the completion unit where a press down
belt snaps the caps into place. The capper has a power
height adjustment to accommodate containers between
2" (51 mm) and 14" (356 mm) high and the unit
can be adjusted to place caps with diameters between 10 mm
and 110 mm. The press down belt and gripper belts are
independently adjustable to increase container stability
and the operator’s ability to control the capping
process.

Spindle Style Screw Capper

E-PAK's new and improved Spindle Style Screw Capper is an
extremely durable and versatile machine that is able to
sort, align, place and torque a wide range of threaded cap
types. The system offers a quiet gripping belt drive
system that is extremely easy to set-up and maintain. An
improved cap chute supports caps ranging in diameter from
10 mm to 115 mm and offers more flexibility for cap
presentation to the container. The capper offers a power
height adjustment to accommodate container heights ranging
between 2 and 14 inches.
The capper's redesigned feed chute,
spindle wheels and gripper belts features fully
independent adjustments to address a wide range of cap and
container combinations.

Induction Jar & Bottle Sealers
For the added security of tamper-proof
and leak-proof sealing, E-PAK manufactures two models of
induction sealers. Both models include a self contained
cooling unit and accommodate cap sizes from 5 mm to 150
mm.

The E-PAK Induction Cap Sealer is used
to apply a hermetic seal over the mouth of a jar or
bottle. The purpose of the seal is to provide evidence of
tampering, preserve freshness of the contents, or prevent
the contents from leaking. A special cap containing an
aluminum foil disk is used. After the cap is screwed onto
the bottle, it is passed underneath a sealing coil, which
radiates a high frequency electro-magnetic field that
causes the aluminum disk to heat up. Plastic laminated to
the disk softens and fuses to the mouth of the bottle. The
unit features a self-contained water cooling system for
the induction head area. This is a 2 Kilowatt system that
will handle applications ranging from 5 mm to 150 mm neck
finishes.
