Taylor has enjoyed more than thirty years of steady growth. In 1996 the company was purchased by Taylor Holdings, Inc., and focused on a number of managerial, product, distribution and market opportunities.

In 1997, Taylor Products expanded into vertical-form-fill-seal pouch technology through the acquisition of Avatar Packaging Systems of Decatur, Alabama.

Three years later Smoot Company, a leader in pneumatic conveying, was added to Taylor Holdings. In 2001 Taylor Holdings was renamed Magnum Systems.
